Look Forward Consulting to Sponsor Agile Portugal 2018

March 2018, Lisbon, Portugal – Look Forward Consulting is pleased to announce its sponsorship of the Agile Portugal 2018 conference, to be held on May 25, 2018, in Porto, Portugal.  Now in its ninth year, the conference is a slimmed down one-day international event focusing on Agile software development and its practices, technologies, attitudes and experience.  Announced speakers so far include Matt Wynne, Gareth Rushgrove, Job van der Voort and Doguhan Uluca.  More to come, we are told.  This year, the conference is being co-located with the XP 2018 conference, at the Faculdade de Engenharia da Universidade do Porto.

Carlton Nettleton, Certified Scrum Trainer® and president of Look Forward Consulting, expressed his excitement about the event.  “This is the second year we are sponsoring the conference.  Since last year, I myself have relocated to Lisboa, and love visiting Porto whenever I get the chance.  This year proves to be especially interesting given that it is co-located with XP 2018, where I will be a speaker.  The co-location of the two conferences is unique and will allow for even more exchange of ideas among difference communities.”

As part of its sponsorship of the conference, Look Forward Consulting has donated a free enrollment to either its next Certified ScrumMaster® class or Certified Scrum Product Owner® class, whichever the winner selects!  This enrollment will be given away at the conference.  “We want to build our Scrum and Agile communities in Portugal, and so donating a seat at one of our classes is a great opportunity to do this,”  added Carlton, “Definitely looking forward to it.”
