Majel Barrett-Roddenberry died today after sucumbing to lukeima. She was 76. Star Trek was one of the first sci-fi shows I got into when I was a kid (the stories from the original series follow many of the classic sci-fi themes). I always remember her being so glamourous and beautiful. She also had a sultry voice as the ship’s computer. It looks like a bit of my youth is fading away.
