June 7\"IMG_2040\"th, 2016 Porto, Portugal<\/strong>\u00a0– last week,\u00a0Carlton Nettleton<\/a>\u00a0took time to share the journey of CSP Fast Pass with the attendees at\u00a0Agile Portugal 2016, a two-day regional conference hosted by the Agile community in Portugal. \u00a0This year, Carlton was an\u00a0invited speaker\u00a0to Agile Portugal and spoke to nearly\u00a0three hundred people on Friday, June 3rd.<\/p>\n

The title\u00a0of his presentation was “Learning from Product Failure to Achieve New Product Success!” \u00a0In this sixty-minute talk, Carlton shared the various set backs, insights and iterations\u00a0of CSP Fast Pass\u00a0as he and\u00a0Jason Tanner<\/a>\u00a0developed the program over two years. \u00a0Specifically, Carlton discussed how he applied\u00a0Innovation Games<\/a>\u00a0and\u00a0Value Proposition Design<\/a>\u00a0to zero in on the market need of Certified Scrum Professionals (CSP).<\/p>\n

“CSP Fast Pass was definitely a long journey. \u00a0We went down a lot of dead ends to reach the four-month, on-demand program we have today. \u00a0Once Jason and I made the decision to be more disciplined and use\u00a0Lean Startup concepts<\/a>, our efforts\u00a0became much more focused with hypothesis testing and experimentation. \u00a0We are glad the Agile community in Portugal could see how these tools and techniques can be applied to a real product that delivers a real market impact.”, said Carlton Nettleton. \u00a0To view Carlton’s\u00a0presentation on\u00a0SlideShare<\/a>, follow\u00a0this link<\/a>.<\/p>\n
