\u00bfAlguna vez se ha preguntado si las organizaciones ni si quiera quieren equipos? He o\u00eddo a mucha gente en las empresas hablar acerca de la importancia del fortalecimiento de los equipos y c\u00f3mo estos son vitales para el negocio. Entonces veo lo que hacen. A veces los negocio act\u00faan de manera que disminuyen positivamente el impacto de los sus equipos. Es casi como si el negocio est\u00e1 deliberando participar en teamicide.<\/p>\n

Teamicide es un t\u00e9rmino acu\u00f1ado por primera vez en el libro Peopleware<\/strong><\/a>, por Tom DeMarco<\/a> y Timothy Liste<\/a>r. En Peopleware<\/span>, se\u00f1alaron los comportamientos comunes que muchas organizaciones tienen que hacen matar a equipos saludables y prevenir otros equipos de cuajar o alcanzar un estado de alto rendimiento. Estas son sus principales culpas.<\/p>\n

  1. Burocraci<\/strong>a – es el resultado natural de la gesti\u00f3n defensiva y a menudo se representa como una parte necesaria del “proceso”. Lean Thinking llama a esto residuos. Papeleo de oficina, y todo el papeleo asociado al empuje, ofrece muy poco valor y mina la moral e iniciativa del equipo.   2. Aunque la \u201cPolic\u00eda de oficina\u201d hablar\u00e1 mucho y bien sobre la construcci\u00f3n de un sitio de trabajo flexible que sirve la necesidad de la empresa y los equipos, todas las “caras largas salen” cuando alguien sugiere el traslado de personas m\u00e1s cerca de la otra, para que puedan terminar el trabajo.<\/li>\n
  3. La fragmentaci\u00f3n del tiempo<\/strong> – un t\u00e9rmino m\u00e1s moderno para este concepto se llama “multitarea”. La multitarea es malo y es uno de los Seven Wastes of Software Development<\/a>. No lo hagas! Entonces, \u00bfqui\u00e9n sufre m\u00e1s de esta fragmentaci\u00f3n del tiempo? Por lo general, la persona que realiza el trabajo. Estas pobres personas experimentan frecuente gran frustraci\u00f3n por su incapacidad para gestionar todas las interrupciones diarias. En realidad, estas personas trabajan en un sistema roto dise\u00f1ado para frustrar todos sus movimientos.<\/li>\n
  4. Calidad reducida de productos<\/strong> – nada lleva al esp\u00edritu de un equipo hacia el suelo cuando la direcci\u00f3n da la orden de producir basura. Por supuesto, nadie le dice al equipo “Construir basura”. Lo que dicen es: “Construir a tiempo y dentro del presupuesto”, ambos siendo escandalosamente bajos para empezar. Los equipos de alto rendimiento tienen que ser el mejor y la idea de que la calidad es opcional es un anatema para su orgullo y propiedad del trabajo.<\/li>\n
  5. Plazos falsos<\/strong> – siempre empleados por el gerente de Teor\u00eda espa\u00f1ola<\/a> porque la gente no trabajar duro a menos que tengan una fecha l\u00edmite. Todo el mundo sabe la fecha l\u00edmite es falsa, pero todos pasan por la moci\u00f3n de aceptar que son reales. La \u00fanica cosa que los plazos falsos hacen es engendrar mala voluntad entre la direcci\u00f3n y el equipo.<\/li>\n
  6. Competencia<\/strong> – para el equipo para convertirse en el mejor, la necesidad de entrenar a otros y estar disponible para ayudar a los dem\u00e1s libremente. Todo lo que hace la empresa para mostrar que uno de los miembros del equipo es m\u00e1s especial que los dem\u00e1s conlleva a la competencia. Las revisiones anuales, elogios por esfuerzo extraordinarios, primas, premios y dinero en efectivo vinculados a las m\u00e9tricas de desempe\u00f1o y rendimiento son t\u00e9cnicas que favorecen el logro individual sobre los resultados del equipo.<\/li>\n
  7. Los carteles de motivaci\u00f3n<\/strong> – Todos los hemos visto en Sky Mall<\/a>. Por lo general, incluyen un concepto de negocio positivo como el trabajo en equipo o la colaboraci\u00f3n seguido de alguna declaraci\u00f3n concisa que es a la vez totalmente obvia y extremadamente condescendiente. Los carteles de motivaci\u00f3n son el triunfo de la forma sobre el fondo y son un insulto para profesionales inteligentes en todas partes.<\/li>\n
  8. Romper un equipo ganador<\/strong> – coja a su equipo favorito y imagine que acaba de ganar el campeonato nacional (o equivalente) por tercer a\u00f1o consecutivo. \u00bfSe puede imaginar que los propietarios rompieran este equipo despu\u00e9s de ganar tres t\u00edtulos de campe\u00f3n seguidos?
