{"id":2406,"date":"2015-03-31T06:57:24","date_gmt":"2015-03-31T13:57:24","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/lookforwardconsulting.com\/?p=2406"},"modified":"2024-03-05T10:22:47","modified_gmt":"2024-03-05T10:22:47","slug":"if-you-only-need-to-know-one-thing-as-a-product-owner","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/thescrumacademy.com\/es\/2015\/03\/31\/if-you-only-need-to-know-one-thing-as-a-product-owner\/","title":{"rendered":"If You Only Need to Know One Thing as a Product Owner&#8230;"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>&#8230; what would it be? \u00a0There is a really insightful\u00a0thread on the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.linkedin.com\/groups?home=&amp;gid=731527\">Certified Product Owner LinkedIn<\/a> group from last week. \u00a0I thought it would be beneficial to capture the best response and share the excellent wisdom\u00a0from experienced Product Owners all over the world.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Involve your stakeholders. \u00a0Be transparent towards your Team. \u00a0Always put your end users first.<\/li>\n<li>Write good user stories with even better acceptance criteria.<\/li>\n<li>Every client&#8217;s desire should not make the requirements list.<\/li>\n<li>Communicate and communicate again. \u00a0Be organized. \u00a0Always remember your stakeholders; all of them.<\/li>\n<li>Know your priorities. \u00a0Be clear about your vision for the product. \u00a0Be there for your team. \u00a0Communicate.<\/li>\n<li>Be the visionary and articulate that Vision to the Team.<\/li>\n<li>Actively communicate. \u00a0Get better understanding from the business side. \u00a0Let the scrum team be.<\/li>\n<li>Focus on customer benefits, not on product features.<\/li>\n<li>Learn to say &#8220;No&#8221;.<\/li>\n<li>Listen, communicate and constantly share and update your product Vision!<\/li>\n<li>When talking about features, focus on the why and not the how. \u00a0Let the team come up with the solutions.<\/li>\n<li>Empower yourself, your Team and your Stakeholders with vision, clarity and transparency!<\/li>\n<li>Listen to your ScrumMaster.<\/li>\n<li>Go to where the customer is to get real data on how they use your products.<\/li>\n<li>Be decisive, collaborative and not afraid to fail!<\/li>\n<li>Be inquisitive.
