Una pregunta que se hizo reciente en el Grupo de Profesionales de Scrum Certificados de Linkedin<\/a>, describ\u00eda un escenario com\u00fan con el que la gente se encuentra cuando trabajan con equipos de Scrum distribuidos.<\/p>\n

\u201cEl ScrumMaster y el coach de Scrum est\u00e1n onshore (cerca del cliente), mientras que los equipos de proveedores est\u00e1n offshore. \u00bfSe est\u00e1 el cliente enga\u00f1ando a s\u00ed mismo?\u201d<\/em><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

La respuesta corta a esta pregunta es \u201cS\u00ed, el cliente se est\u00e1 enga\u00f1ando a s\u00ed mismo\u201d. \u00a0Seg\u00fan mi propia experiencia y la de mis clientes que trabajan con equipos de Scrum distribuidos, la idea de que el ScrumMaster puede estar alejado del lugar donde se est\u00e1 realizando el trabajo es, en el mejor de los casos, una quimera. \u00a0En el peor de los casos, nos hace creer que un ScrumMaster es meramente un gestor de proyectos con un nuevo t\u00edtulo que est\u00e1 presente en Scrum para supervisar al equipo y gestionarlo. \u00a0El rol del ScrumMaster es apoyar al equipo en su auto-organizaci\u00f3n, amplificar la contribuci\u00f3n de cada miembro del equipo y apoyar el flujo de valor de principio a fin. \u00a0No es un trabajo que se puede realizar haciendo una llamada<\/a> a trav\u00e9s de una l\u00ednea telef\u00f3nica que funciona como puente.<\/p>\n

Puedo entender por qu\u00e9 una empresa elegir\u00eda no invertir en proveedores offshore. \u00a0Puede que piense que deber\u00eda buscar el proveedor m\u00e1s barato; entonces, \u00bfpara qu\u00e9 invertir dinero en algo que no es necesario? \u00a0Sin embargo, Scrum enfatiza la colaboraci\u00f3n y si usted no est\u00e1 dispuesto a invertir para aumentar la capacidad de un proveedor clave que es responsable de la entrega de una parte cr\u00edtica de su producto, entonces Scrum es el modelo equivocado para esta relaci\u00f3n de negocios. \u00a0Simplemente enf\u00f3quese en una buena gesti\u00f3n del proyecto, en la gesti\u00f3n y el seguimiento de los riesgos del proyecto y en dirigir la entrega de estos equipos offshore de acuerdo a su plan. \u00a0Estar\u00e1 mejor siguiendo este modelo que intentando hacer que Scrum funcione en una mala relaci\u00f3n de negocios.<\/p>\n
