{"id":1344,"date":"2012-03-21T09:05:52","date_gmt":"2012-03-21T17:05:52","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/lookforwardconsulting.com\/?p=1344"},"modified":"2025-02-24T08:11:44","modified_gmt":"2025-02-24T08:11:44","slug":"fourteen-obervations-of-good-scrum-practice","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/thescrumacademy.com\/es\/2012\/03\/21\/fourteen-obervations-of-good-scrum-practice\/","title":{"rendered":"Fourteen Observations of Good Scrum Practice"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>My courses are deliberately designed to exclude PowerPoint presentations and focus on the peer-to-peer interactions, but I recognize that a significant number of students need something physical to take from the class and review later. \u00a0In addition, there is no possible way for me to cover every topic the same way in a two-day CSM class, so I needed something for the learners to refer to as a reminder on how to do Scrum well. \u00a0As a result, early last year I wrote a book on Scrum &#8211; Fourteen Observations of Good Scrum Practice &#8211; as teaching aid for my CSM classes. \u00a0From the learners I have spoken with, they find the book to be a useful summary of the main concepts in the class, a handy reminder of what we discussed and short introduction to Scrum that they can share with other people at work. \u00a0When you attend one of my CSM class, you receive a complementary copy.<\/p>\n<p>I have a lot of interest in helping the Spanish speaking Scrum community grow and there is\\was a complete lack of books on Scrum written in Spanish or English language books that had been translated into Spanish. \u00a0Now no more! \u00a0Earlier this year I published a Spanish translation &#8211; Catorce Observaciones para la Pr\u00e1ctica de un Buen Scrum\u00a0&#8211; of my book. \u00a0It was a lot of work, but now there is a high-quality book on the subject for Scrum for my Spanish speaking friends. \u00a0My translator, Diana Perez, was awesome and did a great job.<\/p>\n<p>Finally, I want to thank <a href=\"http:\/\/www.agilelearninglabs.com\/people\/chris-sims\/#more-41\">Chris Sims<\/a> at <a href=\"http:\/\/www.agilelearninglabs.com\/\">Agile Learning Labs<\/a> for inspiring me to write my own book on Scrum plus explaining to me how easy it is to publish a book on your own. \u00a0Without Chris&#8217;s inspiration, this book would not be widely available.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>My courses are deliberately designed to exclude PowerPoint presentations and focus on the peer-to-peer interactions, but I recognize that a significant number of students need something physical to take from  [&#8230;]<\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":1,"featured_media":7646,"comment_status":"open","ping_status":"open","sticky":false,"template":"","format":"standard","meta":{"_monsterinsights_skip_tracking":false,"_monsterinsights_sitenote_active":false,"_monsterinsights_sitenote_note":"","_monsterinsights_sitenote_category":0,"_price":"","_stock":"","_tribe_ticket_header":"","_tribe_default_ticket_provider":"","_tribe_ticket_capacity":"0","_ticket_start_date":"","_ticket_end_date":"","_tribe_ticket_show_description":"","_tribe_ticket_show_not_going":false,"_tribe_ticket_use_global_stock":"","_tribe_ticket_global_stock_level":"","_global_stock_mode":"","_global_stock_cap":"","_tribe_rsvp_for_event":"","_tribe_ticket_going_count":"","_tribe_ticket_not_going_count":"","_tribe_tickets_list":"[]","_tribe_ticket_has_attendee_info_fields":false,"footnotes":""},"categories":[47,7,78,54,59,76,219,3,65,210,5],"tags":[],"class_list":["post-1344","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-agile-scrum-training","category-agile-scrum","category-book-reviews","category-certified-scrum-master","category-class-design","category-espanol","category-news","category-personal","category-press-release","category-scrum-framework","category-scrum-methodology"],"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO plugin v27.1.1 -
